Our Mission

The Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri is committed to finding local solutions to local issues. Our goal is to build a permanent source of assets that will help provide income to meet the many needs identified in our communities.

As an affiliate of The Community Foundation of the Ozarks, we are a tax-exempt public charity that enables individual donors, families, businesses and organizations to establish charitable giving funds.

Representing Barton, Jasper, Newton, and McDonald counties, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for current and future generations by building community endowments, establishing grants, providing leadership, and promoting collaboration on community issues.
